Wow.....where in the hell have I been? absolutey NOWHERE! I won't even lie and say I was too busy to blog because I was globe trotting. I was just too lazy to post. However...I'm back. I have more time, energy and desire to post. So be sure to check back.

Yesterday was a very peaceful day. The family went out to the lake and relaxed for a bit.

Here I am a little overdressed for "roughing it" at the lake.

But, I felt fully prepared for anything in my gladiator sandals.

(Until a caterpillar crawled across my foot and I was so out of there!)

Recently, while browsing vintage related pages on Myspace, I came across Past Modern Vintage, (an adorable site/store/and now a friend!!) Surfing a little further, I clicked on their website and also checked our their ebay store. They have such pretty things. I am now a devoted fan!!

The first thing I do when surfing the internet is to hop on over to Flickr and check out my dear fashionistas on Wardrobe Remix. There is nothing I luv more than seeing fashionable people showcasing their personal style for the world to admire(or loathe).

It's that time of year again.....Time for sweaters, scarves, boots, and jackets. Oh, how I love fall. Well, what shall I dress myself in this upcoming season? Luckily, the team over at Who What Wear Daily compiled an array of Fall basics to make my shopping a little bit easier.

This luv affair I have...

Disclaimer: You will read in this blog numerous times that I ADORE Urban Outfitters. I swear, if I could, I would marry that store. Today will be my very first post about them. Be prepared for many more.

This time they have really outdone themselves and decided to revisit the 80's!! It's like they read my mind!! All summer long, I have been channeling fashion from the 80's. I have been really into everything that that decade encompassed lately.

Woo Hoo!!!

I'm here. Well it is about time that I created my own blog dedicated to the world of Fashion. I think I am entitled to discuss what I consider fashion. Hell, I manage to get myself dressed everyday!!
I love clothing and accessories. I LOVE fashion!! Besides my family and work, this is what totally consumes me. I love everything about it. I love the uniqueness of it. Fashion is open...as long as you're loving what you are wearing and you are comfortable being you, then you're in fashion.
Don't get me wrong, some people do miss the mark!! I totally believe that you can tell if someone is not comfortable with what they are wearing. I hate that!! I don't get why people are afraid to truly be who they are and are afraid to express themselves through their garments.
In my posts, I plan on documenting and photographing what I wear on a daily basis ( at least I'll try.) I am an avid thrift shopper and I'll post some pics of my most recent finds (vintage or not). I also plan to add links to some of my favorite blogs by other fashion forward fashionistas and other random web crap.


Before I go....let's get to know me.

1. I am a lover of all things 80's. Leg Warmers, Flashdance, Members Only Jackets, etc.....



2. I wear black almost daily. It's not even on purpose. Okay.... maybe it is. When I shop, most things that I end up buying are black.

3. my dream is to open up a consignment shop. One day it will happen. I've decided that it will happen will I become less lazy!

4. I shop Target at least 3 times a week. I know that's a little excessive. But I can find EVERYTHING there.

5. I make a majority of my own jewelry. The rest comes from Target. (just kidding)

I have to go walk the dog now....
